Balenciaga was all about androgyny from the first look to the last. Oversized hounds-tooth featured on a range of leather dresses whilst pretty summer shifts were given a masculine twist by being paired with gritty worker-style boots.
The whole show had a real feeling of a feminist movement in progress; a stark contrast from the rest of the stereotypically feminine shows seen in New York, Milan and Paris. However, some of the shoes were similar in style to the creeper-esque brogues seen at Prada the week previous.
